Cheesy Potato Casserole

1/3 cup butter
8oz sour cream
2 cans cream of chicken soup (or any cream soup)
1 bag frozen hash browns
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 to 1/3 cup dried onion flakes or finely chopped onion
Melt butter, stir in sour cream, soup and onion until well mixed, add hash browns and cheese, mix well.
Put in 9x13 baking pan. Cover with tin foil, bake in 350 oven for 1 hour, remove tin foil, bake an additional 15 minutes (or longer depending on how crispy you want the top)
This recipe will work with cube or shredded hash browns.
